Home Sick Guilt

I looked at her, and I knew she was different.

Someone said that to me once.
I like all the funny accents you can do.
And it's beautiful to see someone so alive,
And okay with where they are.

I'm okay with where I am.
Even if it's this tiny studio,
On this shaky table.
That won't let me call home.

Even if it's so far away
From hugging you.
And so far away,
From tea and my mom.

I feel bad about missing them.
